I remember in 2011, or 2012, I was at a bar, and I was reading a flyer, and it had John 3:16” on it. I asked, “what is John 3:16?” All the dancers were shocked like, “You don’t know what John 3;16 means??? That’s the most popular scripture in the Bible! I was stated no, but ok… Yet, I thank God for what he did in me! 😍 On another note, I went to church almost every Sunday growing up, Yet I didn’t know GOD, I didn’t know his word, neither did I know his likes or dislikes. Taking your kids to church, and teaching them about God, and teaching them the word of God is DIFFERENT!!! My mom would put us on a brief punishment if we fell asleep in church, so I never fell asleep in church, yet I couldn’t tell you what was preached because I was day dreaming… Don’t let your kids trick you! Ask, what did he / she talk about today?
What’s your problems, habits, addictions, fears? What do you keep doing that you want to stop, but you can’t because it’s a habit??? Believe in Jesus, and get baptized! He can fix it! He died for your sins, and rose so that your life can be fixed! All the sins that you have done, and all the sins your ancestors have done, that have allowed the devil to come into your life, and plague you, hinder you, and etc., JESUS PAID FOR IT, HE WIPED YOUR SLATE CLEAN, and through faith in Jesus, he will restore order in your life, and cause his purpose in your life to manifest! Yet, you must believe in him!!! (John 3:16).
God dropped this in my spirit the other day: when you speak your testimonies, when you declare my works, the glory of God is present. The same glory / power that delivered you in the situation, the same glory that was present when I made a way out of no way, is the same glory that is present when you SPEAK OF WHAT I DID. Therefore, declare / speak works of God! (Especially during difficult times). That’s why when many praise God, or declare the works of God they feel the chills (goose bumps). When the glory of God is present all fear, doubt, depression, evil voices and etc., has to leave!!! Not to mention, in the presence of God is the fullness of joy!!! Meaning when you speak the testimonies & works of God, you will be joyful!!! #WeOnlyGoingUpFromHere
Difficult times is a sign / indicator that greater is coming!!! It’s the trials and tribulations that births / pushes you into your purpose!!! God knows this so he tells us he will give us double for our trouble!!! And that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning!!! Rejoice knowing that greater is coming!!! This is another reason we have to pray to endure, and see the promises of God, especially when God speaks great things into our life, or uses a prophet to speak great things into our life. Some difficult seasons will be used to push us into the great places God and the prophets speaks to us of. Joseph didn’t wake up as the second person in charge of Egypt, it was the trials and tribulations that were used to put him in that position. Even with Jesus, it was the beatings, Whoopings, and betrayals, that pushed him into his destiny, where from there he died, and rose, and sits at the right hand of God!!! Rejoiceeeee!!! Greater is coming!!!!
It’s so important to know who you are in Christ, and to know your place in Christ. Otherwise the devil will be able to easily move you into feeling condemned, feeling jealous, envying, or just feeling like God can’t do it. Yet, when you know who you are in Christ, what is condemnation when you know if you confess your sins to God, God is faithful and just to cleanse you and forgive you? (1 John 1:9). What’s condemnation, feeling like God is mad at you all day, feeling like your going to hell because you stumbled, when you know there is NOOOO condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, walking after the spirit, and not the flesh? (Romans 8:1). Why feel jealous, and be mad at someone because of what they are accomplishing, when you know that we are to thank God for the grace on other ppl lives? (1 Corinthians 1:4). What’s envying, and feeling like what you have is not enough, because of what someone else has, when we know it is Gods pleasure to give his kids the kingdom (Luke 12:32). Do you see where I’m going? When you know who YOU ARE IN CHRIST, the devil can’t use situations to push you into ungodly emotions, and evil perceptions About yourself, nor your situation. I pray that all the saints begin to know who they are in Christ, the promises of God, and not just know them, but hold onto them, and stand on them, in the midst of adversity. ❤️
One of the things that the devil does before he attempts to devour you / suffocate you, is isolate you from other Christians. You will begin to isolate yourself from them because your ashamed, don’t want correction, or maybe pride. You were not created to do this on your own, don’t forsake the assembly of the brethren, meaning isolate yourself from other Christians. We are a body, we help each other in many ways. Yet, if you isolate yourself because of ungodly reasons, chances are you are already experiencing confusion, which means it may be difficult for you to discern when God speaks, verses when the devil speaks—-This is not a nice place to be when you have to make decisions that will lead you into sin, or out of it. Yet, godly counsel from someone seeking God will really help you. Don’t let the devil isolate you!
If you’re like me, you’ve probably found yourself praying for more time to pray, praying for more time to read the Bible, praying for more time to talk to God, praying for more time worship, and etc., Yet, I must admit God has answered those prayers many times, and I’ve blew it! In 2015 I collected unemployment for 5 months, and didn’t work at all. While that could have been a time to draw closer to the Lord, seek his face, read more, pray more, and etc., the time was spent distracted, crying, depressed, and confused. Many of you are in a season where you have a lot of spare time on your hands, and unfortunately, you aren’t utilizing that time the way God wants you to. God is saying redeem that time!!! Utilize that time to pray, read the word, worship, and etc., stop being a busy body in everybody business. Get off of social media, snap chat, Facebook, Instagram, and etc., Stop living in your thoughts; thinking everybody has an issue with you. GET IN THE WORD OF GOD. Let the Lord give you oil, so that his light can shine bright through your, causing you to endure, and overcome in the midst of dark situations. YOUR SPIRIT MAN IS HUNGRY!!!! FEED YOUR SPIRIT WITH THE WORD OF GOD!!!
Distractions operating in your life, is just as bad sins operating in your life. Distractions can hinder you from growing in Christ, and focusing on Christ. Distractions can be the reason why a person is never available to read the Bible, has time to be taught by the Holy Spirit, talk to God, or learn things concerning God, because you are always busy; or every time you get ready to focus on him, something takes your attention. Distractions are DANGEROUS. When I first God saved in 2013 God told me this world was a big distraction to keep me from learning of him. Beware of how your phone starts ringing every time you start reading. Beware when every time you begin to read the Bible, someone texts you, drama starts coming into your life, or even pains try come. Beware when you begin to seek God, here comes some ex, or the opposite sex trying to get your attention. Beware how the moment you begin to get into a bible teaching church, your job causes you to work on service days (bible studies, Sunday’s, and etc.,)
A lot of people believe in Jesus, yet a lot of people aren’t living according to God’s PURPOSE, and his CALLING. Many people are doing what they want to do, living for themselves, living how they want to live. Yet, 2 Timothy 1:9 says God called us with a HOLY CALLING. That means when you began to live for Jesus, and acknowledge Jesus, our father called/purposed/desired for you to STRIVE to live holy. God expects you to turn from everything he declares to be wrong, and live according to his word; by his power of course. A big issue within people is they don’t have a DESIRE/ZEAL to live for God, and live right; they enjoy their sin, they think it’s ok, and fine. Its one thing to understand we aren’t perfect, yet’s it’s another thing to just plain out think it’s ok to live in sin, and have no desire to obey God. The Bible says if you hunger and thirst after righteousness, you will be filled (Matthew 5:6). Meaning, if you desire to live for God, God will put all his ways in you by the Holy Spirit, and cause you to live for him, and be obedient. The way you talk will change, your attitude will change, your morals will change, and you will begin to act Jesus like God. It may not happen over night, but it will happen. Yet, you must get a desire to want to live for God. Therefore begin to PRAY! That means RIGHT NOW “ASK GOD TO MAKE YOU HOLY, ASK GOD TO BE YOUR ONLY INFLUENCE, ASK GOD TO CLEAN YOUR HEART AND REMOVE ALL EVIL DESIRES. ASK HIM TO ONLY HAVE HIS WAYS OPERATING IN YOU…… #Transformation is coming for all those who asked!!!
I know at times while diligently seeking God, the mind battles can be overwhelming. Especially when you knowwww your striving to serve God, yet unwanted thoughts, and emotions continue to come. Yet, Remember this: RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE SHALL FLEE FROM YOU (James 4:7). Continue to resist envy (feeling like what you have isn’t enough because what someone else has, or has accomplished), continue to resist thoughts of sex outside of marriage, resist the desire to argue/fight/anger and etc., When you continue to resist the devil under pressure, God sees that you are serious about him, and you really want him. Therefore, because you delighted in his ways, you preferred him over the devil, God is going to give you the desires of your heart! (Psalms 37:4). That means you will no longer battle with those thoughts, and emotions… Keep resisting the devil. Through the power of God, keep casting down (pushing out) every thought, high thing, imagination, and everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5) Don’t become weary with well doing, you will REAP if you faint not (Galatians 5:9), that means don’t get tired, don’t feel like it’s too much! You will receive! You will see God cleanse your heart!!!! After all, isn’t it written that if you huger, and thirst after righteousness, you shall be filled? Keep desiring Gods ways, and he will give them to you. (Matthew 5:6).
