Don’t lean unto your own understanding

Many scriptures are used as a excuse to sin, and that should not be so. I say this based on what I have heard… When holiness is preached.

1. All have sinned, and all have fallen short is not a excuse to sin… It’s for you to humble yourselves when your flesh leads you to be prideful, speaking negatively of someone…(Romans 3:23-24)

2. Jesus died for all our sins is not a excuse to keep sinning… It’s a declaration of what was done for us. (John 3:16)

3. We are not under law, but under grace… Is not a excuse to sin. It allows us to see the power of what Jesus did for us on the cross… Because the wages of sin was death… Yet Jesus died for our sins therefore GRACE abounded for us… Meaning the law does not reign over us leading us to death when we accept Jesus… Grace reigns over the law and death … Allowing us to be risen as Jesus is risen… Inheriting internal life… Also right after that verse we are informed that we are servants of whom we obey… Therefore if we Wilingly sin we are obeying satan. (Romans 6:14-16)

The flesh is weak but the spirit is willing is not a excuse to sin… It’s actually to encourage you to walk by faith… And understand that even though your flesh doesn’t want to do it… Your spirit man is… So keep striving praying and hoping in God. (Matthew 26:41) as he said if you hunger & thirst for righteousness you will be filled (Matthew 5:6)

Scriptures can be viewed as puzzle pieces, but as you walk with God he puts them together for you and opens your understanding… (Luke 24:45) Lean not to ur own understanding… His thoughts and ways are not ours. (Proverbs 3:5, Isaiah 55:8-9) God said be HOLY as he is holy… (1 Peter 1:16) Holy means sanctified, pure, set a part… Cleansed… Righteousness… Saints are SANCTIFIED… Therefore we can’t willingly sin. However if you enjoy sinning, confess it to God and ask him to deliver you because you know it’s not right…
