The bible says we must wait on the lord. We must be patient. God blesses us for our obedience. This means no matter what your situation looks like, be obedient. Wait on God. In the book of Nehemiah one of the tactics that was used on him was fear. They tried to make him fearful so he would go out and sin against God. This happens daily when our situations look unpleasant; We trust ourselves and not God. We sin trying to fix something, that only God can fix. We MUST trust him, and give ourself to him wholly. You have a bill due, have a family to take care of? Don’t become fearful, and give into sin to make ends meet. Wait on the lord! He said he will supply all your needs, not some. He is faithful that promised, he will never fail you, nor forsake you. We must stand on his word, and trust him. Trust God and not your situation, or what you see. Read his word so when your waiting you have something to stand on. Praise God through trials, because his people know he makes the bad turn around for the good. You must have faith! It’s impossible to please God without it. You must be a believer that God rewards those that diligently seek him. My pastor said yesterday that this won’t work for you if you don’t believe it. And it’s true, His word says FAITH & WORKS. When the faith kicks in, it will change the things you do. You believe on Jesus, so now you will love as he did. Ask God to increase your faith and love. Pray! Repent! Read his word, ask to receive his outpouring!
1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 and all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
9 Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
13 Therefore was he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me.
James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Hebrew 10:23 23Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
Romans 5:3And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
James 1:2My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
1 timothy 4 :15Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 16Take heed unto thyself,
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
