A living sacrifice!

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1

The scripture above indicates what we are here for: to present our bodies as a living sacrifice to God (beseech means beg). To sacrifice means to give up, or to do, for some cause. We are to give up, or do things for our God, that is our reasonable service/duty/purpose. Everything we do is a opportunity to glorify the most high. This means that every single thing we do matters. Each decision that we make can give glory to God, or or his enemy.

For example: this person stole from me: You can use the opportunity to glorify God and forgive, or expose and humiliate the person and glorify the devil. I feel like this person is using me, I give this person money all the time and they never pay me back; you can close your hand shut and glorify the enemy, or be a cheerful giver and glorify God because he reveals the counsels of hearts. My friends want me to go out and get drunk with them, I can go and get drunk or glorify God and not go because no drunkard will enter his kingdom.

All things were created for him and by him which is why all things are for his glory. We must know that we can’t serve two masters. His word says you can’t share cups with devils and God. We are for God, or we are not. His word says the Luke warm wont enter into his kingdom, this means you can’t be half in and half out. All sin is sin, the wages of them are still death. He didn’t say the wages of sex is death, or the wages of stealing is death, he said sin(s). However by his mercy and grace we are still here and have a chance to repent and give ourselves to him wholly.

That scripture says “holy, and acceptable unto God.” Yes God wants us to be holy, we are doing things to be accepted by him, not our friends, family members, crowds, but the most high alone! We are heirs of Christ. Christ glorified the father and we must do the same. As it is written, “No servant is greater than their master.”

Examine yourself! Pray for a complete transformation! Claim a complete transformation!!! We are heirs of Christ! God entitled us to poses the same things as Christ! Never doubt him, whatever your worries are, tell him in prayer! Do not give up!!! You have already been paid for with the blood of the lamb! Repent of your sins and turn away, he loves you!

Read his word daily! We can’t change on our own, but by his spirit only! Read his word so you can be set free, his word is the truth!

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
