Overwhelmed?

Beloved, on your journey with God, the enemy will pull any tactic on you so you will take your eyes off of the most high. One of those things is the spirit of overwhelming. Remember we don’t war against flesh, but against powers of principalities. Pray against it! The Lord hears our prayers! Continue to seek him, repent and yield to righteousness!

The following scriptures indicate how pharaoh overwhelmed Gods people because they wanted to serve their God. Because of this he purposed to overwhelm them with hard tasks, to the point they would have no time sacrifice to their God. However, we know that God delivered his people with a strong arm and they were able to sacrifice to him. If you are overwhelmed in any area of your life, tell God and ask him to help!

Exodus 5
1 And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.
6 And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying,
7 Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves.
8 And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish aught thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God.
9 Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labor therein; and let them not regard vain words.
10 And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spake to the people, saying, Thus saith Pharaoh, I will not give you straw.
11 Go ye, get you straw where ye can find it: yet not aught of your work shall be diminished.

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
